Welcome to my practice! I am Rachel Snow, a Certified Professional Midwife dedicated to supporting women through the incredible journey of pregnancy and childbirth.

My path towards midwifery began at the tender age of 18 when I was blessed to support a friend giving birth in the tidal pools of Hawaii (dolphins and all!). I knew then it was my soul’s calling to become a midwife. I later began attending births regularly in 2013 and finally became a licensed midwife in 2021. I have had the privilege of working as a homebirth midwife, as well as a staff midwife at a freestanding birth center in Boulder, prior to moving to the Western Slope.

With over a decade of experience attending many births in various settings, I have cultivated a deep trust and confidence in out-of-hospital birth. I believe every woman deserves a safe and nurturing environment to welcome her baby, and to be entrusted with that responsibility is my honor. While I have always held immense respect for Motherhood, giving birth to my own two children significantly strengthened my love for birth and midwifery. Having firsthand experienced being held in the tender hands of midwives during my own pregnancies, midwifery care was truly life-changing for me. I feel incredibly blessed to continue the legacy of care, I too, received.

I strive to provide care for my families rooted in the energies of autonomy, sovereignty, respect for your individuality, and emotional connection.

In addition to my midwifery practice, I am a certified clinical herbalist and nutritionist. I have a profound passion for holistic health, and my offerings include traditional healing techniques such as Mayan Abdominal Massage Therapy and Ayurvedic postpartum treatments.

When I’m not supporting families in their birthing journeys, you can find me enjoying time in nature with my children, tending to my garden, or experimenting with fiber arts and natural dyes. I am here to walk alongside you, providing compassionate care and support as we embark on this beautiful journey together.
